I know this post is long long long overdue, but i've been busy =) I would like to spilt today's post into 2 parts. "Looking back" and "Looking Forward"
Looking Back
For those who didnt noe, i celebrated my 20th birthday on Monday 15/10 (take it down!) haha. well, my teen years are gone. And as the title goes, i looked back. back at the times i made silly and, sometimes honestly, stupid stupid mistakes. I looked back at all the times i laughed with my mates, some of which i have lost touch. Times when the words teen or teenager made me feel underaged and small. Ha! We always dont know how much we love something until we lost it. Well, life in my teens has taught me lots. So, CHEERS to my teenage years! its been fun.
Looking Forward
20. 20. 20. It is but a number. Let me share with you something my mum told me when i was 16. it is a piece of wisdom that i'll never forget. She said:"20 or 21, it dosent matter. It is but a number that humans make up to measure something. One may be an adult to others when they hit 20. but to God, you will always be a child." Sometimes, We get so caught up with the celebrations or the "emo-ness" of losing our teen years, that we forget him. So in line with looking forward, I'll let go and let him drive. And in time, I'll look back to my life in general, and smile. =)
